Summary
Atsushi gets affected unknowingly by the ability user they are trying to track down; he slowly watches and feels himself dieing with out being able to do anything :D.
So with little clues and a little knowledge the group that had been set up for the mission and Atsushi himself, try to track down and deal with this disease ability user(with several trials and errors) before new symptoms arise, old ones get worse, or worse comes to worse he ends up dead.
Other issues (one specifically involving a certain black haired Mafioso) also arise in Atsushi's time of crisis as he barely spends a moment away from the other while Akutagawa is by doctors orders made to "babysit" Atsushi as his health deteriorates. With weeks on end spent together in the same hotel room, vulnerable and half delirious, its only reasonable that other feeling between the two break way to the point its hard to ignore.
(Fyi, yes this summary has changed three different times, I can never settle with consistency, so no one is allowed to call that fact out.)
2,500-15,000 words per chapter, they get longer as you read, so you're eased into it, I try to update once a week, but sometimes the long chapters take longer :D

Summary
Atsushi is on a mission while sick with Akutagawa, Chuuya, and Dazai. Unfortunately, things don't pan out in Atsushi's favor. The three learn a couple of things about Atsushi that he had been keeping from them... Let's just say that Atsushi wasn't a happy camper.

Summary
As a child, Atsushi was so vulnerable that it’s almost too much for Akutagawa to contemplate. The frailty of his thin, bony body, the ease with which he bleeds. It’s a wonder he survived the orphanage at all.
But as an adult, even with the tiger to protect him, that vulnerability persists. While Atsushi’s body has grown stronger, his heart remains gentle and unguarded. It shouldn’t. It defies every truth Akutagawa knows. Truths about pain and about loneliness, and about the sort of thing a person inevitably becomes when subjected to enough of them.
In the abandoned clinic, Akutagawa had scolded Atsushi for his bleeding heart, but now, Akutagawa understands it as a miracle. No one would blame Atsushi for deciding he’d bled enough for a lifetime.
An Ability User causes Atsushi and Akutagawa to witness each other's worst childhood memory.
They both take it about as well as one might expect.

“What do you mean he’s off the field for today? We have work to do. If that Jinko can’t get his act together, then maybe he’s not meant for this job!”
“Akutagawa, I’m sure you remember how it felt watching Gin go through the standard Port Mafia training to become the assassin she is today.”
Akutagawa sneered at the low blow from Dazai.
“Have your morals changed so soon, Dazai-san? In the months I’ve been gone have you realized how weak your new mentee is?”
Dazai leaned against the doorway, a dark look on his face as he stared at nothing. Simply downwards towards the floor like he wished it would open up and swallow him whole.
“Right now, I truly believe he is the strongest of us all.”
