“Marinette?” Mister Bug asked after Multimouse appeared in his and Ladynoire’s routine patrol spot. At the sight of his crush, he immediately felt his hands become sweatier, and his tongue swell in his mouth. He gave her a shaky grin, trying to hide the fact that his crush was meeting him after patrol instead of his partner. “Uh… what are you doing here?”
She walked closer, fixing one of her space buns that had gotten lopsided while she was jumping from rooftop to rooftop. She took one of the stray pieces that were intentionally left out to frame her round face. Multimouse sheepishly grinned, her hands conjoined behind her back. “Ladynoire couldn’t make it today. I’m just filling in.”
