Vash enjoyed having time to himself, especially after dragging through what has been essentially hell on earth for the past few days. This usually only involved walking around wherever they were set up and just breathing, feeling like he's finally come down to No Man's Land again and can properly feel like himself again. It's a coping mechanism he's always had and even though he has a higher bounty now, it's not going to stop him from doing the things he loves.
