Summary
Post-movie. Wayne and Roxanne just rescued Megamind from a research lab. Wayne moves into Evil Lair to be his bodyguard. Megamind is struggling with his feelings toward both Roxanne and Wayne. His antagonism toward Wayne is complicated by the fact that their respective species have a symbiotic relationship. If Megamind is going to thrive, he needs Wayne and needs him soon. This is a sequel to The Monster Within, but you don’t need to read that story first.

Summary
I wrote another song for Megamind the Musical (which I still really really want to see happen in my life time). If you like it and want to perform it, please do so. You absolutely have my blessing to use this song in any way (as long as you're not making money off it).
If Megamind were a fan-made musical, this song would be sung by Roxanne, Megs, and Minion. It would start during the scene in the museum when Megs gets the brilliant idea to create a hero ... then finishes at Evil Lair, with Megs pitching his idea to Minion.

Tumblr prompt from archive-of-evil: To honor Metro Man, the local planetarium puts together an exhibit commemorating the solar system that was destroyed by the black hole. The setup is extensive, a memorial to all the sentient peoples that lost their lives (a ‘tomb of the unknown soldier’ kinda deal). Metro Man is invited to be the guest of honor during the unveiling. Megamind shows up uninvited, not as a crasher, but as a mourner.
