Summary
Exactly three years and one week after a tragic accident, Lapis Lazuli seeks closure and answers. After she eventually turns to a less devout method of contact, and although successful, the truth and reality may not be what she wanted. On top of the reopened wounds, Lapis has to balance college, her job, a crazy girlfriend, and now face the ghost of her dead best friend, and all that the gross reality entails.

In the year 2360, World War 5 has been raging for 35 years. Technology is advanced, but less available, and civilization has found itself in recession.
In the midst of fighting, Peridot, the Loyal soldier who serves the New World, has the chance to change the world. When all goes wrong, what ensues could change her whole world, and everyone else's.
And how was this brought about? Because a certain Rebel taught her that love can be a battle far more worth fighting than she had previously believed.

Summary
When a doomed metal worker is faced with the task of building what could potentially be a weapon of mass destruction, she must choose between going on with it, or fight the system. Even if she's forced into exile in the process.
And really, it would be so much easier if said weapon didn't posses the social skills of a 12 year-old boy and the brain of a super computer.
