He knew he hated himself normally. Like the Gotham sky being disgustingly grey, or his rent being overdue 2 months, it was a blatant fact.
So why did this specific, outright positive thing irk him so bad? Why couldn't he, for once, be content with a good thing? Why couldn't his stupid brain just shut up instead of stupidly thinking of stupid things to complain about, stupid stupid stupid.
But, then again, he knew why. Deep down he knew that this free lay, this good lay was morally reprehensible.
He knew that fucking Oswald Copperbolt was wrong.
