Bruce had been wary when Constantine suggested summoning a powerful Ghost King to deal with the seemingly unstoppable apocalyptic threat fast approaching Earth. He'd been even more so when both he and Captain Marvel appeared reluctant to actually go through with said summoning.
He was expecting a terrifying god of death asking for their souls- or their lives- in return for saving their world.
That was, decidedly, not what he got.
