Summary
Many years after the Chaotic wars, the united kingdoms in the Land of Academia are lead under the rule of King Toshinori of Plus Ultra are finally calm and thriving. However, King Toshinori has decided to bring back his wife and "princess" from when he sent them off before the Chaotic wars.
With a high reward for bringing back part of the family in almost total control of the country, many go off on long journeys to receive the rewards. Some of these people include the son of King Enji of Endeavor, the second most popular king in the Land of Academia; a baker's son; and the self-proclaimed dragon prince.
However, once they find the princess and queen, it turns out there might have been some misleading information on the "princess".

Word traveled fast in Crime Alley.
It became yet another Alley-kid code word. If someone said they were telling Mama, that meant Jason Todd would get an earful while he planned out his next drug bust. If someone said Mama’s paying for dinner, it meant a free meal to any kid who showed up to the diner that day.
(or: "a toddler who was being saved by the red hood called him "mama" once and now crime alley kids will refer to him as mama all. the. time.")

Summary
Dolly is the very nice old woman who lives three blocks down from Jason’s third-favorite safe house. It’s not out of the norm for her to ask him to put this or that knick-knack on this or that shelf, but it is out of the norm for him to open the closet door and nearly be swallowed by yarn.
“Oh, dear,” Dolly says. “I forgot that was the yarn closet.”
“A yarn closet,” Jason repeats disbelievingly. He places the knick-knack on top of the shelf. There is an endless rainbow of yarn pooled around his feet. “What do you even do with all this?”
Dolly says, “Hats, scarves. Hot pads if I’m bored. Blankets if there’s a baby. Honestly, you can crochet all kinds of things.”
“Crocheting,” Jason says. And this is where he makes his fatal mistake: “Is that kind of like knitting?”
Five minutes later, Jason finds himself seated on the couch, a bundle of yarn in one hand and some kind of hook in the other.

Jason Todd learns how to crochet. It turns out that having healthy emotional outlets improves your mental health and your relationships with others--like, say, a certain set of Bats.
