He’s aware that he’s loud and angry and insecure and that everyone prefers his siblings to him, okay? He knows this and he understands! He can’t even get mad about it because he likes them better too, but he’d at least hoped that he could make some friends of his own at Cloud Recesses without Wei Wuxian monopolising all of them... oh well.
Or, how Jiang Cheng realises that while Lan Wangji does consider Wei Ying a friend, he considers Wanyin something… more.
