Summary

“To be honest even Charles wasn’t entirely sure what he was going to find to do to stop this insistent need to pace but he never got the chance to think further anyway. Suddenly there was a large bang from the other side of the room. Too late. Charles needed to get away. Get away now. Behind him there was a mirror. He turned, ran, touched and fell through.”

Edwin has always felt othered. Only in his after life did he find people who made him start to believe that he could fit in. But those memories are still there, and when he begins to experience new issues following yet more traumatic events he tries to keep them to himself. This obviously won’t work forever, and with the help of Charles, and Jax the mirror jumping service dog, Edwin may finally get the support that he needs.

The two friends had exchanged a glance before turning towards the white-haired girl with a - frankly impressive - bedhead sitting behind them, still half-buried under the blankets.
"What?"
"We should find a name for Edwin and Charles when they are in their orb forms!" Niko had exclaimed, getting increasingly awake and excited by the second.
Charles had let out a brief bark of laughter before asking, incredulous, "Why would we need to do that?"***
Or; Edwin's an orb for a little while, Charles looks after him and the girls look after Charles. They make a pillow fort, watch movies and play board games.
