Summary
He wore a size 8 in shoes. Occasionally, if the cobbler was odd or difficult, it might be a 7. Once or twice he’s worn a half size of 7 and a half, though that was a fluke as it hasn’t happened again. If he wears thick socks, the expensive ones made of cotton that’s only carried in Altabury, he can fit a 9. They feel cluttered and cramped though, too long for his foot, even if the added layer of padding from the sock fixes the width issue. It was uncomfortable, though. Terribly so.

Summary
This entire concept is inspired by @kitsunico's color swapped Hypnos drawing.
I saw it and came up with an insane hypothcial AU of what a Hypnos that looked like this would be like. What did I concoct? Well, spark notes: Hypnos changes his usual look to fit in better with his family. He also decides to give up on earning their affection and support. He's jaded, mad and blames Zagreus for most of his problems. The set up here is at they were, 'close' as children and Zagreus, for the life of him, cannot understand what happened to them. Sadness ensues. This is written with Zagnos as a ship in mind, but it isn't directly romantic, feel free to infer it differently. This also takes place before, throughout, and after the events of the first game. If I broach the second game's canon in this AU, I'll be sure to let you know lol.
Everything here is a one shot in this AU! If it isn't posting in this series, it's regular canon (unless stated otherwise)
Generally, will including some pointed bashing of the house, its inhabitants (specifically Zagreus and everyone related to Nyx) and significant indulgence on my part. Don't like it, don't read.

Summary
Alone again, with the pancakes not due to flip for another minute or so going by the lack of bubbles on the pale doughy surfaces, Will takes a deep breath and presses the backs of his knuckles into his eyes with a groan.
He tells himself sternly to knock it off, because there's certainly no point in it.
It's one matter to stand against the world as a person more hated than just about anything and to have comrades defend your honor and right to exist. It's another matter entirely, Will thinks, to imagine that he can… partake, in that same society, in all the same ways everyone else can.
In which Will has some hangups about what is tacitly forbidden to him by virtue of being an elda amidst a nation that would prefer to see him dead. Along the way to untangling that complicated knot of internalized taboo, Basilio fights his own old long-standing battles. Together, perhaps, the impasses holding them both down might be broken.

Summary
The problem wasn't that Will was Strohl's soulmate, no. Strohl was over the moon to know that his dearest friend was his destiny– though he'd known that from the moment that they'd shook hands.
The problem was that Will didn't seem to know that Strohl was his soulmate at all. The misfortune never seemed to end, in his case– was he truly part of a one-sided bond? Or did Will simply not want him…?
No matter. Strohl would do his best to try and seduce him regardless.
the first chapter is relatively spoiler free, but the final one will have major spoilers
