Summary
For a moment there, a silence hit when Isabela and Luisa again shared a look. It broke only when they turned back to Mirabel and Isabela opted to speak up. "Some kind of plushie with a bandage perhaps? It can be anything. Just not a bee."
That was actually a much better idea. Mirabel sat down again, but still faced her sisters.
"Like what?" she asked, breaking another silence as it made itself apparent.
Yet again, Isabela and Luisa exchanged a glance. This time, Luisa opted to speak up.
"A teddy bear?" she suggested, sounding a little unsurely. "With a bandage wrapped around its head? Or around its body and arms?"

Summary
"Mira, I think you should make tío Bruno a plush rat!" Antonio announced, laying on his back on his prima's bed, his plush Jaguar sitting on his chest and Parce curled up around him fast asleep. Mirabel spun around in her chair to face her younger primo from where she was and had been sorting through her fabrics.
"And I'm guessing his rats told you that?" she asked, giving the five year old a smile.
Antonio shook his head, looking at his older prima from his positioning on her bed. "No. I just.... I think he'd really like to have a plush one."

"What is that you're making, corazón?"
Mirabel took the time to finish eating her arepa before looking over her shoulder at her mother and gesturing a hand at the photograph on her desk.
“A plush doll of abuelo for abuela,” Mirabel replied. “I know she's going to love it.”
“She will. Para definidos.”

Summary
This was a gift to their mami from the three of them together. And they knew their mother would love it.
Especially with the little dark blue, teal and indigo colored heart attached to its paws that had their first initials on it. There was no way their mother wouldn't appreciate the plush.

Summary
For a while, neither sister said anything. A short silence between them broke only when Luisa watched Mirabel pick up a piece of the green fabric she had laying out and study it.
"What are you making?"
Mirabel sighed and scratched her head as she set the fabric back down and turned around to face her older sister. She hadn't quite thought about it yet. "Something for Isabela. But I don't know what yet..."
