Rahadin had been tasked - or rather ordered - to accompany Solaria to keep watch of some barn that someone may or may not be ramsacking each night to steal sheep.
Solaria had taken all of his belongings from where he had left them hidden in Kayta's stable amongst the rafters. He wasn't sure how, but somehow she found it, went through it, and now wouldn't give him back most of his belongings, including his Sending Stone. With midnight ticking past, he begins to become anxious. The longer he leaves messages from his master unanswered, the more disappointed his master will be.
Solaria has his Stone shoved down her top quite conspicuously; it sticks out from where she has it nestled between her breasts. He can see it the whole time he is made to make innane conversation with her.
He needs it, and his increasing desperation means he'll do anything to get it back.

SPOILERS FOR CURSE OF STRAHD
The Party had been given 24 hours to retrieve the Tome of Strahd. More than enough time, Strahd seemed to think. Especially since Solaria had made clear that they had time to spare, given that they were prioritising some issue with Dmitri Krezkov's livestock.
The Party knew they would be able to do it, they just needed Strahd off their backs and kept busy. A job Solaria was usually happy to do. Because Strahd was usually happy with her. Unfortunately for her, he wasn't happy now.

Solaria had always found dinners with politicians to be horrifically boring, and dinner with the Burgomaster of Krezk and his family was no exception.
Vasili sitting next to her was a welcome distraction; the pressure of his arm around her and the feeling of his fingers trailing on her neck as Dmitri droned on about his undead child occupied her attention wonderfully.
When Vasili suggested that they should both get some air instead of sitting through the dessert course and listening to more bullshit, Solaria was more than happy to follow him from the dining room.

Solaria was worried.
The last time she’d seen Strahd, he’d been exceptionally unhappy with her, and certain members of her party seemed to do nothing but make it worse.
She needed to do something to get them back onto his good side, otherwise all her hard work has been for nothing.
But what was there to do, in some random witch’s front garden in the middle of the night? The only privacy to be found was behind a pigshed 15ft from where the party had set up camp. Unless she wanted to go and bother Jen for a spare room.
Was that rude?
She might just have to get her hands dirty. Or her knees.
