Yingxing and Bai Heng stare at the place Dan Feng points at. They don’t say anything until Bai Heng decides to break the silence.
“Dan Feng…that’s a wedding parlor for wedding dresses. And Yingxing’s only seven.”
(Or what if Yingxing just got murked and sent back in time instead of getting marastruck. He tries to make a better future for himself trying not get involved with Dan Feng anymore. But what if Dan Feng comes to him of his own volition? Or more like What if Dan Feng wants to be involved with Yingxing.)

Summary
The Force can choose anyone. This is well-known among Jedi. Within some species, Force-sensitivity is more common than within others, but there is no sentient species - not even past the furthest reaches of the galaxy - that has never had a single Force-sensitive to some degree.
This, of course, means that every so often a Sithspawn child is born with the Force. They call her Estai and they pass her to the Jedi when she's of age.

Introverts don't make friends. They get adopted by extroverts. With less than a decade to his name and a temper that worries his teachers, Obi-Wan wouldn't exactly call himself an extrovert, but he reacts strongly to basic displays of kindness and Estai is nothing if not kind.

Summary
FN-2187 was not a Good Stormtrooper, for all that he was a skilled one.
Good Stormtroopers followed orders. They didn't question their surroundings, didn't doubt, didn't feel guilt and grief… didn't wish that the First Order never existed.
And they definitely, definitely, didn't have the Force.
AKA
FN-2187 was more important than anyone could have possibly anticipated.
The Sith, for one, absolutely hadn't seen him coming.

The Jedi Council was nervous. The Jedi Council was very, very nervous, so much so that the usual meditation-and-releasing-emotions-into-the-Force shtick had failed and High General Mace Windu had broken out the spotchka.
If anything called for drinks, it was discovering that your whole Order was sitting on a primed thermal detonator - well. More like a million of them.
