Summary
Cast out from her people for her crimes, the Forsworn Nemain somehow ends up in Helgen and meets the sworn enemy of her people, the man Madanach has sent her on a mission to kill: Ulfric Stormcloak.
Forsworn sympathizer, hater of Nords and remorseless killer, Nemain must decide what prejudices she will cling to, as she begrudgingly begins to respect the Bear of Markarth.
Can a heart once broken begin beating anew? Surely never for the man who slaughtered every man, woman and child of the Reach who stood against him.
Bitter and betrayed, this is the tale of Nemain the Dragonborn.
*Starts out canon compliant, and then goes into heavy AU territory. Lots of plot bunnies wreaking havoc: whatever happened to the Forsworn after the Cidna Mine incident? Is Ulfric Stormcloak merely a racist jingoistic dingleberry, or does he have 'layers'? And what if the Mage's Guild main quest didn't end there, but was blended with several Daedric quest storylines?
...and away we go.

Summary
The title is Swedish, which is a nice nod to the Viking roots of Skyrim.
Modern woman falls into Tamriel. Specifically Skyrim. I wanted to attempt a more realistic take on what it would be like to suddenly appear in a violent, medieval magical world like Skyrim for a modern 21st century woman. Basically, it would suck. But also...be pretty? And yeah, really suck. Poor Sarah. But don't worry, Vilkas makes it all better, eventually.Inspired by the Tenth Walker genre of Lord of the Rings fanfiction. But hopefully without the Mary Sues. Ha.
Creative solutions to vanilla problems, butterfly effect, evil really sucks when you're actually living with assassins, werewolves, blood sucking vampires, soul storing gems and so on.
