Sasuke could feel his heart lurch out of his chest at the sight of him. The resemblance was uncanny.. and painful. Naruto Uzumaki was not the boy he had loved and lost so tragically, but he looks exactly like him.
He can't stand it..
But he can't ignore it either.- - - - -
“Sasuke?” he breathed. “Why are you looking at me like that?”
“I’ve missed you” he whispered.
Blue eyes widened.
“Sasuke, I-I’m Naruto. Remember? I’m not..”
“I’ve really, really missed you..” He dropped down on a forearm and buried his hand in soft blonde locks, pulling his face towards him. “So much..”
Naruto stared up at heavy onyx eyes, surprised to see them filling with tears. “Sasuke, hey- come on. Snap out of it.”
His face moved lower and Naruto jerked his head to the side.
“Sasuke!!”

He turned the tap off and reached for a towel, wiping it over his face. He rubbed lightly at his eyes first, then brought the towel lower, opening his eyes to see his reflection as the towel wiped over his nose and mouth. A slight discoloration on his finger caught his attention, so he dropped the towel and brought his left hand up for closer inspection – only to find a thin, red ring around his left ring finger. Eyes wide, Naruto stared at his hand and opened his mouth, words failing him momentarily until he found what he was looking for. “Sakura!”
