Summary
Eventually, Eddie seems to get tired of dancing alone and gets up in Buck’s space. He pokes and pushes at him until he laughs and says, “What are we doing?”
“We’re being joyful,” Eddie responds with so much earnestness that Buck can’t bear to let him dance alone any longer. He practically cheers when Buck starts to move. If it would mean Eddie would be this happy always, Buck would dance until his feet fell off.
-
Post 8x06, Buck shows up at Eddie's house, they talk it out, have a dance party, and fall even more in love with each other.

Summary
“What are you doing here?” he asks his niece when she starts squirming back out of his embrace, carefully setting her down. He almost asks if she ran away from home, because he knows it would make her giggle, but thinks better of it. “Tea party? And I wasn't invited?”
“She's hanging out with her uncle Eddie today,” Eddie says, leaning back on his hands. He's smiling when he looks up at Buck, a real smile, and his whole face scrunches happily when Jee-Yun crashes into his side.
Buck feels like he needs to look away, but he has no idea how.
or: one toddler, two conversations, and so many missed opportunities for buck to act like a guy not in love with his best friend.

Summary
“No reason,” Neil bluffs. He chews on his cheek. “I just had a question. That’s all.”
“Oh,” Todd replies, a little mumbled. He yawns. “What was it?”
Neil stares up at the ceiling. Carpe diem, and all that, he thinks. The sentiment feels a little too large to carry.
He asks, “Have you ever been in love?”Neil auditions for a play, accidentally reads a poem, and falls in love – not necessarily in that order.
