“Gwiannnn!” Gem’s voice rang out as toddled up to Grian’s base, unsteady on her feet on a body that seemed way too big for her current headspace.
Grian looked up from where he was sitting at his dock, fishing. “Hey Gem. What are you up to?”
She sat down and leaned against him, “Small.” She answered, looking down at her shoes.
He paused, putting his fishing rod down. She seemed frightened. He wondered where Impulse was. It wasn’t that late into the day, just barely afternoon. Why didn’t she go to him? He should be around.
[Gem goes to Grian for help after a nightmare as Impulse is no where to be found. Grian also ends up regressing while taking care of her so Scar comes over]

Summary
Gem is always tired and physically doing stuff such as building and gathering tires her out more, she often can't work for long periods and seeing everyone else be able to do things easily makes her frustrated, because they're so fair ahead and she's so behind. Especially when people offer to help her she just stomps off because she's not a little kid and she wants, no NEEDS to be able to do things herself. She's not gonna let her stupid illness stop her, even if it continues to take a toll on her own body.
