Summary
The girl must have taken his silence as an answer, and she looked at him in sympathy. Rude, he wasn’t the one in crisis here. “I’ll make you a deal,” she said finally after staring at him in silence for so long.
Tim started. “What kind of deal?” he asked cautiously. He didn’t think she was a malicious kind of magic user, but one should always be cautious when using magic to make any kind of deal.
She must have seen where he was going because she waved her hand dismissively. “The old fashioned kind. My word for yours. I’ll call off my golems–” Hah, Tim knew he was right. He’d have to interrogate her about their specifics later. “--and let Red Hood and you only help me.” Her voice wavered a bit at the end there, and Tim knew she really was trying to compromise with him. “If you let me help you,” she finished smoothly.
The bats get hit with an empathy spell linked to Tim. They learn about how much their young bird is hurting.

"I'm just worried he'll take it wrong," Dick said and reached for a tissue on their bedside table for Jason could have the opportunity to distract him again.
"How the hell could he take it wrong? 'Hi, Timmers, for Christmas, we just want you wrapped up in a pretty bow with nothing else on.' Plenty straightforward, if you ask me."
5 times Dick and Jason tried to talk to Tim about opening their relationship to him, and 1 time Tim actually heard them out.
