I felt a ripple born of movement wash over me from the left; not the rippling disturbance of someone new diving inside the lacrima but the kind of someone who was already here . . . waiting in the wings.
Not at all creepy or unsettling, I thought but glanced over to see who was watching me.
OR I just remembered that it was suggested in canon that Jellal followed after Erza into the lacrima and directed the explosion himself so she wouldn't have to (his survival was never explained but I'm guessing plot-armour) and decided to write an accompanying piece incorporating that event.

Episodic stories filled with both familiar and unfamiliar faces, as Mugen and Fuu travel across Japan and change people's lives and maybe change and grow a little themselves. Perhaps navigating Japan is the easy part. Navigating the delicate nature of their relationship...may just be another story.

Or: Pre-season 1 Shigaraki is spending a lot of time at an Arcade, picks up a fangirl without realizing it, and once he shows her a glimpse of what he's really like, her innocent crush corrupts into an unhealthy obsession that spirals out of control. A dark romance that gets worse before it gets better.
