Of course, more often than not it was the kind of dream where you thought everything was going great, and just when you were about to get your dick sucked, you suddenly found yourself falling off a hundred story building, while a bunch of smaller Alastor's flew around you, cackling at your imminent demise.
Recently, Alastor had been tiptoeing closer and closer to nightmare territory. If Vox had known that the man would end up being so high maintenance, he – yeah, no, okay. He still would have walked into the situation, eyes open and willing.

“Excuse me,” Dazai plants a hand on the short redhead boy’s muscled, bare shoulder. “Any chance you’re Chuuya Nakahara?”
But, instead of an answer, the redhead wobbles and proceeds to collapse.
“Woah there.” Dazai catches the boy in his arms, one under his shoulders and the other scooping up his knees, before the boy can face-plant into the dirt.
A frown mars Dazai’s lips as he examines the boy: Same copper-colored hair, height, and shockingly dark eyebags as all the descriptions of Nakahara that the Port Mafia has obtained. But Dazai was told that Nakahara did not sleep, and, for whatever reason, the boy curling into his arms is clearly out cold.
Well, this is quite the predicament.
Or the 5 1 in which Dazai gets a crush on Chuuya, who can’t sleep unless in contact with No Longer Human, which leads to Chuuya never joining the mafia.

Summary
The issue with Dazai is his honesty is a mercurial variable at best.
Sometimes a brazen lie, other times a simple flexing of truth. Any way one paints it, his features remain untouched by emotion. Unscathed and unclawed by concepts as mundane as guilt or regret.
Its equal parts frustrating and endearing, one of the many facets Chuuya knows he despises yet could not live without.
Right now? Something he resoundingly despises.--
Or: Dazai drags Chuuya into the Detective Agency. They pretend to date. Somehow, they heal along the way.
