Summary
Valeria woke up at riverbank, on a sharp, wet sand. Barely remembering what happened she stood up and look around, left side of her face hurt like hell and she wasn't able to open her left eye, she was dressed in dirty and burnt clothes. On her right there was a long and wide river, going for thousands of kilometres, somewhere far, far away from here, on the horizon there was a small, figure of a castle. On her left there was a big, dark and mysterious forest which didn't look very friendly. Right in front of her there was a small, overgrown path leading trough the forest, with no hesitation she set off on the path forward.
This is my first work on ao3 and English isn't my first language so there could be smaller or bigger mistakes in grammar but I hope you will enjoy it anyway :D
