You wouldn’t shoot a man with a disability, would you?” Viktor’s mouth curled at the corners when the enforcer pointed the tip of his rifle directly at him, challenging.Or, Viktor is arrested by Junior Officer Enforcer Jayce Talis and decides to try seducing his way out of it.

Summary
And, well, he doesn't run once he's outside. He wishes he did. Viktor grips the railing in front of him, wild-eyed and panicking. The door jostles behind him, because of-fucking-course it does, Jayce too curious and too much of an ass not to follow him. Never giving him any time to think by himself, his brain too big for his own head and spilling into everyone else's space.
“Leave me alone.” Viktor seethes, and he hopes his voice gets the sentiment across.
In typical Giopara fashion, Jayce doesn't. He steps outside and lets the door close behind him. The click of the door shutting should not be as damning as it feels.
Jayce cons Viktor into celebrating Progress Day with some drinks.

“I was involved the moment we became partners!” Jayce snaps, ferocious, imploding in on himself. “Do you not understand that!? You can only talk about your death so easily because it’s not you witnessing it!”
His voice howls through the lab like a wounded animal. “You weren’t breathing, Viktor! Do you get that? You were dead! My best friend, taken from me in less than a minute from something I came out of unscathed!
“I don’t care if you think that I’m selfish! I don’t care if you think it’s not fair! How on Runeterra could you ask me not to help you!?”
Jayce brings the Hexcore to Viktor's body, and through their fusion, Viktor survives. Affection holds them together for just a little while longer.
