Summary
David's first day back to work hadn't gone exactly to plan. Near death experiences, supernatural sights that only a crazy man would repeat, a new career. And a new partner.
Settling into his new life was not as smooth as David would have liked and certainly not one he predicted. Living alone, working as the sole field agent to a new division, adversities that he couldn't share with anyone, and learning to work alongside a chaotic entity as the RV driving paranormal hunter, Micah. Not to mention the phone calls, court hearings, and a past life he's not so carefully avoiding.
There is a fine line of what David is willing to take and he is reaching it fast.

It was Mora’s fault for leaving his clothes out in the open.
At the very least that’s what Shishikura told himself as he yanked Mora’s drawer open and stole the sweater inside. A corner of the sleeve had been poking out. If Mora had folded it properly and made sure everything was in place then it wouldn’t have come to this. Mora wouldn’t have had to have lost his sweater and Shishikura would be doing something a little more… productive.
It was Mora’s incapable of keeping his room in proper order to blame and Shishikura would accept no other explanation. Really, Mora could stand to learn from this. Shishikura was making a point. Surely his intentions were good and just.
Telling himself that made it easier to ignore the guilt.
