Summary
It’s rather jarring to wake in the Halls of Healing when one does not remember how they came to be there. It’s even more jarring to wake in the Halls of Healing to learn that you have been asleep there for four years, and that during that time, your padawan has left the Order, the galaxy has broken out into war, the Jedi have become war heroes, your padawan has left you, the Sith have returned, the Republic is under attack, and Anakin Skywalker will not return your comm calls.
After Obi-Wan Kenobi wakes, he has little choice but to move on. There is a war to be fought. There are battles to be won. There is a new Sith lord named Vader who has taken an inexplicable but undeniable interest in him. Untangling the hurt and anger he feels at Anakin’s absence from his life will simply have to wait.

Summary
The first time Cody went to war, he was specifically made for it. That meant that no one cared that he was thirteen, that he never saw a paycheck, or that he was, essentially, a product built, bought, and used by the Republic. Cody never got a choice in that war - and he certainly never had a chance. The second time Cody went to war, he made the choice for himself. It did nothing to take away the frustration he felt when he realized that he was, despite everything, still made for a battlefield.
Or, the war still comes and Cody still rises to meet it. A few things change, but far too many stay the same, and Cody refuses to let history repeat itself. He may or may not also figure out who, exactly, Kote is.

Summary
When a verd’goten finishes - when the adrenaline leaves and the sweat dries and the beskar is claimed - it is a common misconception that the child, then and there, becomes a Mando’ade. The truth is that they don’t - they only become a Mando’ade when they are sent to the back of the armory, to the coolest, darkest section, and are told to select their paint colors. That first color, some argue, means more than any verd’goten victory.
Or, to Mandalorians, paint colors are more than pigments and brushstrokes. They are fate and destiny and everything in between.

Summary
