Summary
All things considered, Oscar would say that he was doing pretty well. Not in the race, obviously—that had been fairly shit—but in terms of damage control. He and Lewis had resolved their whole situation peacefully. In his post-race interview, he had remained calm and given the usual neutral answers of "it is what it is" and "we're always pushing to do better." Team debrief had been weird. A lot of shit had happened during the race, and when Oscar was in the middle of so much of it, it was bound to be a little difficult. But it was fine, really.
That was why hours after the race, finishing picking up his drivers room and getting ready to go back to the hotel, he was decidedly not thinking about it. Nope. Not at all.
or; it started in monza, when oscar needed a hug and got one. 9 race weekends total, landoscar-figuring-out-their-shit style.

“The couch is a backbreaker,” Oscar says, suddenly appearing from the back with a fresh tray of donuts. “Also Lando’s bed is big enough.”

Oscar's been acting strangely.
It's not a bad strange, per se, and that's not to say that Lando doesn't always find Oscar a bit weird – lovingly, of course, but look at the guy.
Though, as he finishes pulling a fresh shirt over his head, as he hears the sound of Oscar pacing back and forth across his living room, he wonders if something might be... amiss.
