Summary
Smitty is the young prince of Atheria who only desired to have freedom in his life. Of course that"s impossible considering the position he was born in. He will be the next king when he comes of age. He"s sick of all the rules, lessons, balls, and arranged marriages he has to go through. All the talk about him is also weighing him down.
One day a new royal guard comes to the palace of Atheria. With his mysterious and strict demeanor, he catches the prince"s interest very quickly.
From that day and so on they will face a spiral of emotions while constantly questioning their morals and themselves.
Love is such a mysterious thing isn"t it?

Summary
Book 2 of the Alarie Brothers
Ever since he"d seen Kryoz his first day of college, Smiity had been smitten. No one but Droid even knew about his infatuation.
And then Droid brought the brothers into their lives, and Smiity found himself interacting with Kryoz more and more often, even if Kryoz still held himself at a distance.
But Smiity couldn"t focus on his budding friendship with the Alarie brothers, not with what he dealt with in secret at school. A group of bullies who hated him because he refused to bow down and grovel to them.
When he gets cornered one day, he experiences his worst beatings after he snarked them when his teacher asked him to tutor them in one of his classes. Kryoz finds him, and Smiity sees a side of Kryoz he"d never seen before.
