“Oh, you think this is funny, do you?” Mr. Stark apparently did too, as he realized his own ridiculousness, “To make matters worse, I dropped my Sudoku just before you came in and haven’t been able to muster up the motivation to ask someone to pick it up for me because I’m still mad.” Mr. Stark went full ham at this, smiling sweetly as he batted his eyelashes. “Peter, my dear, sweet intern, you wouldn’t happen to know someone who could help me out of this conundrum, would you?”

“Nope. You can stop whatever you think you have to be saying, bud. We get it. We know. Just—” Tony looked lost for a second, then asked, “Tell us what you need?”
“I—I, uh, I’m not sure?” And then it hit him. Maybe it was the fresh air, the change of scenery, or his newfound resolve, but for the first time in what felt like forever, Peter wanted to do something silly and there was only one person to ask. Mr. Stark snort-laughed. “Dr. Cho is always nice. We’re just pains in her ass and she reacts accordingly.”
“True.” Dr. Cho chuckled in response. “Now stop talking and let me focus on putting Peter back together before I change my mind about this whole thing.”

May sat back with a sigh, and then winced. This was not how she’d planned to spend her day. She had been looking forward to a sip n’ bitch session with Pepper while Peter and Tony messed around in the lab that evening, and had a blissfully plan free day otherwise. Yes, it hurt to move certain ways, and yes, the pain was a little much when she inhaled too deeply, but still. She was convinced that she only needed to do the whole heat-rest repeat thing and would everything would eventually sort itself out.
But then Peter saw her breath catch as she tried to pull her coffee mug from the cupboard earlier that morning and the muscle had hurt just right.
It was over for her once he’d pulled out those big brown eyes and then May was grabbing her insurance card and purse and heading out the door toward Mount Sinai- Queens.

“Whoa, whoa, whoa, Mo! How’s about we get in the car and figure out what we’re having for dinner and then you can tell me everything, okay?” Peter laughed as he hoisted her up onto his hip and started the trek to the day camp parking lot.
“But Petey?! What if I forget something? So much happened today and—“
“I promise, you have a brain like an elephant! You remember everything! And you can tell me all about everything once we’ve decided, okay? Besides, if we don’t do this now, we’ll drive past all the restaurants and I’ll be forced to cook you dinner... and we don’t want that now, do we?” Peter gave a gentle tweak to her side as he teased, forcing her into a giggle fit.
“Nooooo!” Morgan protested. “Mommy an’ Daddy made you promise!”
Peter smiled wide as he deposited her down by the car. “Yes, they did! And why did they do that?”
“Because they love me!”
“And why else?”
“Because they don’t want to send you to jail for poisoning me!”
“Exactly!” Peter bopped her nose and kissed her forehead to put an exclamation point on the discussion. “Now, let’s get you into your booster seat and pick a place. I don’t know about you, but I’m personally thinking pizza would be perfect..."

Summary
Ah, yes-- my second attempt at a month long writing challenge.
Is this one fuelled by diet pepsi and chocolate, like the first? No- chocolate upsets my stomach so licorice and weird marshmallow candies will have to do, but diet pepsi is still my real muse so it's all good. LOL!
This was going to be another collection of MCU one-shots/two-shots, but I've been reading some DC/Batman recently and thought I'd give it a go, too. I hope you can enjoy my experiments.

Summary
Dick saves the new Robin one day.
This is it. This is all.
It’s not that he doesn’t want to have a relationship with Jason, it’s just that it’s too complicated. He doesn’t know how to deal with being an adult on top of being Nightwing. He can’t deal with Jason, with what Jason represents, on top of it.
Except, when a small injury doesn’t heal up the way it’s supposed to, he ends up being the one who needs saving and he’s finally forced to face the new Robin.

Fascinating. Bruce takes a deep breath so he doesn’t scream. He can feel every single piece of shrapnel, bullet fragment, and medical implant in his body trying to move toward the man, inching one millimeter at a time through his flesh.

Summary
Tim knows how the saying goes. "Don't meet your heroes". He knows it, he's lived it. Neither Batman nor Nightwing were nearly as cool in person as twelve year old Tim had imagined. They were disasters barely held together- mostly by Alfred. It's a lesson all children have to learn, that all your heroes are just people. Flawed people who are going to let you down.
At least Jason Todd will never be able to disappoint him.
