Summary
Jon leaves to see the inner workings of space with his Grandfather; Jor-El, and then most of the Batfamily are off on their adventures, leaving Damian almost entirely alone, this makes him hold up a mirror to himself and allows him to discover what it means to stand on his own two feet but in the middle of this, Jon comes back, years older, and wiser and they both attempt to navigate and explore their relationship with each other.

Jean’s mouth went agape and she held her heart. She then went deadpan and shook her head.

Summary
Instead of Jon coming back to Earth Prime as an adult, he comes back a year younger than Damian. Exploring what Damian would feel like having the stress of becoming Batman, and not wanting to be Batman, exploring Damian’s fear of being left behind and not trusting people to stay by his side. Exploring the idea that Jon’s relationship with his family and friends after being on Earth-3 may be strained and people may be angry.
They decide to take a break from their stresses and live together on a farm, through their time together they carefully figure out what it is they seek in people and what they seek in each other.
Damian and Jon also may move away from inheriting the mantle of Batman and Superman and will make a title of their own.
Damian and Jon try and figure out what love looks like for them.
Jon and Damian also try to help each other with the traumas they’ve faced while they are away from each other all within the warm promise of “We’re in this together.”

A wave of affection and longing almost makes him stagger on his feet. Just seeing him in that suit—looking less than impressive, scratching his butt—makes him realize just how much he missed him.
“Wade,” Peter cringes at how his voice catches, “Hi.”
Wade turns around, turns back, turns again and does a double take. He eyes Peter up and down and to his surprise, turns away snootily.
“Sorry cutie, any other day, I would be super into this hipster nerd slash skater boi with an I you’ve got going on—devastating combo, by the way—I’m sadly not in the mood.”
Peter, fresh out of his multiversal escapades, gains a new perspective in life. One that includes a certain mouthy mercenary, perhaps?
The problem is, the mercenary doesn’t seem to remember him. Like at all. He has a sneaking suspicion it has to do with that spell thing Peter-One was talking about…
