Summary
Izuku Midoriya had been subjected to relentless torture by All For One since he was 2 years old. By the age of 6, the constant suffering had stripped him of all emotion, leaving him a hollow shell of his former self. At age 5, Izuku developed a quirk that made him able to bend and warp space around him . This quirk, however, did nothing to protect him from the psychological and physical torment inflicted by All For One. Over time, the brutal treatment caused Izuku to go selectively mute, adding to his misery. Despite the large power of his quirk he was far too scared of All For One to fight back. At age 12, Izuku finally escaped with pure adrenaline and fear that he was incapable of showing. And after a month or two of wandering around, he met somebody who would promise him safety or so he hopes as he learns to trust and be in peace,which he hasn't really ever been in.

Midoriya Izuku is medically quirkless, not technically homeless, perpetually exhausted and doing his damned best despite it all. He also sees spirits, which might be cool if not for the fact that a) no one else does, b) they really don't like him very much, and c) he's pretty sure the heroes now think he's a villain working for the League.
Aizawa Shota just wants to take down Overhaul, rescue Eri, keep his students alive, get some rest, and find out how this Deku kid knows things he absolutely should not know about his personal life and the Shie Hassaikai case.
Unless Nighteye's right, and the kid really is a villain.
