Summary
Viktor and Silco mend what was broken, which would be much easier to do if they lived in less interesting times, and if Silco had any concept of what dating was about. Silco tries to balance being a partner for the first time in decades with becoming increasingly focused on Zaunite freedom. It would be much easier to not care, about any of it, but unfortunately when something stirs his heart to action it is as lasting as it is rare. Viktor deals with the complexities of believing in a cause while working amongst the oppressors.

“I don't love-... I’m not in love with her”
“You need to go to her. She lovely Jayce- you can't just throw her away.”
Jayce smirks, confidence strong as he leans, lips millimeters from Viktor’s.
“You know why I'm not with her?”
Viktor looks into his eyes as if trying to answer his question on his own.
“She isn’t you Vik.”
Jayce’s lips press against Viktor’s, barely, noses meeting gently, warm words.
“Every time I fucked her… I was thinking about you”
He smashes their lips together, his other hand now traveling up to his face, pulling him further into the kiss.
