The authors attention to detail and clear love for the source material is simply breathtaking. Beautifully written, I love the how even the smallest details like voice lines from the game or even how characters smell according to official perfumes that've been created are so naturally incorporated into this fic! Very long fic, which is just to my tastes, and I'm very much looking forward to seeing how future developments play out <3

Summary
It took a long time for him to calm down, to stop screaming and thrashing and demanding to know just what exactly happened. Through his hysteria, Father managed to give a rushed sequence of events – bad information, an ambush, Earth benders, no one else in the mission survived and they did not think Lu Ten would either, except the boulder fell strangely, crushed his arm, but staved off enough bleeding to keep him alive until healers arrived, he was lucky. Not that Lu Ten felt lucky.
OR
Lu Ten survives, but his arm does not, leading to Zuko becoming his temporary scribe while he learns to write with his non-dominant hand; at the same time, he starts realizing family doesn't mean the same thing to everyone

I love this, it feels like an extension of the show. I'm especially impressed by the research and thought that went in to these works, and I hope to see more in the future! The third and most recent work in the series is set in modern times, which I especially love because I had actually wondered myself how the medicine seller would operate in modern times.

Argus' life was a largely thankless one (unless you counted the thanks of the paintings he maintained), working on keeping a thousand year old castle from falling down around the ears of students who didn't care. He had his cat, his work, his books, and a constant boil of self hatred and resentment to get him by.
And then a sixth year handed him a letter from her aunt, thanking him for acting as conservator of Hogwarts and calling him Dr. Filch. It was the first time he had been called Doctor since he started at the castle. He had little choice but to write back, after that.

I never thought I would like Filch, but here I am; in love with this exploration of his thoughts and motivations, his opinions and his perspective as the author imagines how he would be if he were actually a fleshed out person and not just some caricature JKR created to serve as a foil in her world of magic and wonder and youthful adventures. Fantastic world building too, I loved reading about wizarding art and how it interacted and intersected with mundane art history. I'm a sucker for world building and deep dives into characters and their perspectives
