There is just one small problem - she is already married and the husband who has not yet signed the divorce papers is currently in the field. Chasing tornadoes. And it seems like the feelings between her and Enjolras are not as gone as she wants them to be...

Summary
Eponine moves to Chicago looking for a fresh start after finally getting her siblings through school and out of their mom's house. She's got a good job, a small but homey apartment, and a swoon-worthy neighbor, Marius, that she's already fallen in love with. When said swoony neighbor invites her to after-work drinks, it seems like she's finally in the right place at the right time.
Unfortunately Marius's bar of choice is where his friends hang out, and one of his friends happens to be Gabriel Enjolras. AKA the man she spent a whirlwind summer with and ghosted after he told her he was in love with her. But Eponine is a changed woman, and she can salvage this - even if it means making Gabe complicit in a web of lies. Can she make amends with Gabe and romance Marius? Totally! As long as she keeps Gabe at arm's reach, which of course, turns out to be easier said than done.

Lady Thenardier wants nothing more than a home. After her valiant, yet unrevealed, efforts during the war, Queen Cosette the Kind, wishes to bestow upon her good sister a parting gift, one that would finally give her the solace the Lady deserves.
Set in a medieval (ish?? idk im not white) game of thrones style story where there is knights and chivalry, drama and intrigue, and leadership and survival. All these go hand in hand while these two emotionally inept adults navigate a marriage.
