Summary
A world where the supernatural have been almost completely hunted down, there's almost no need for devil hunters and have been only put into literature or legend. The supernatural have to hide and bend themselves into human society. But, the supernatural still lives in the dark underbelly of that exact same society. Unassuming, dark and hypnotizing you to join and never return.
Aki remembered the stories his parents use to tell as a child about the war that killed off the monsters that would hunt his nightmares. That the monsters were fake and that there would be nothing that existed that could harm him like that. Yet, he could never forgot the feeling of unease even when he grew up into a young man. A young man who had something to protect and watch over now the oldest child of four including himself. He doesn't know what to do when Denji finds himself caught up into Makima's web and soon meets someone precious Makima. Her little brother, Angel who seems uninterested in the world. Yet, his uninterested stare seems to pull him into a mess just like Denji and with Denji being stuck Power is dragged along too.

Erwin turns to the underground, the world of prostitutes and pirates, where he confirms the existence of The Banshee, a pirate ship that terrified as much as it captivated those who knew the sea. At every turn, he is warned that involvement with The Banshee can easily become a life sentence, or one that means death. As a poor school teacher with no surviving family, a scared community, and fellow conspirators who have already fled or been killed, he is out of options, and decides to take his chances, raising The Banshee's red flag to be taken aboard.
