Summary
It takes a moment to feel out the difference, glancing around at no obvious threat, before the sudden waft of scent hits him full force.
Jayce.
Hunched over a worktable, wiring something complex into the newest drive for their hexgate as blue sparks shoot off in odd directions as he continues to work.
Jayce, his very much in rut, alpha, partner, who is throwing off scent like someone dropped a bottle of cologne in the middle of the lab, sitting with obvious beads of sweat dripping down the back of his neck.

Summary
“Jayce,” Viktor says, sounding slightly more alert and very serious. “The room is… spinning.”
“It'll do that when you're this wasted,” Jayce replies. “Which pocket are your keys in?”
Viktor stares at him blearily. His fingers, which are wrapped around Jayce's bicep to keep himself steady, flex and then tighten. His mouth opens, briefly, before he frowns and furrows his brows.
“You know,” Viktor says, like it's a revelation. “I don't seem to recall.”
“Of course you don't.” Jayce sighs. “Guess there's no polite way of doing this, then.”
In which Viktor drinks a bit more than he should after the Progress Day speech, and the task of taking care of him falls to Jayce.

Summary
Madara's soulmate is in pain. All the time.
It's at once the best and worst thing. Best, because it means that Madara knows he still exists in a world that's hardly constant. Worst, because it feels like he's breaking, and Madara would do anything to help him. If only he could find him.

Summary
The final battle with Vecna was victorious, but not everyone came out unscathed. Steve wakes up in the hospital high as a kite with something wrong with his eyes. Robin’s right there to assure him it’s nothing permanent, but something weird is going on, and he needs answers. That there appear to be two government factions in town, one of which is hunting El even though she saved the world, does not help. Neither does the feeling there’s someone watching him. It’s all a mess, and Steve can’t sit back and let the others fix it by themselves.
