Bakugou lifted the phone to his ear, but two knocks on the door took his attention off the stove. Lowering the flame, he went to the door and opened it.
“Hi! I’m your new neighbor! I live in 430, right across from you! It’s nice to meet you!”
Bakugou stared, permitting him to continue.
The guy shot him a crooked smile, “Oh, could I have your number? It’s a bit awkward to ask, but I’m new around here and it would be great to have someone I know.”
“Ugh, fine. Give me your phone.” After putting in his number, he shot himself a quick text to make sure the number was saved. The guy accepted it giddily, his lips stretched out into a wide smile.
"Thanks bro! Hey, if you need anythi-"
The door slammed shut before he could finish.
Bakugou turned into his kitchen before he ran to the stove to move the overflowing pot from its place. Damn neighbors

Okay, in hindsight, Race knew it wasn’t the best idea to call Spot not even five minutes after Davey and Jack left, but they were going to go visit Medda for the first time in weeks, and they weren’t supposed to come back until next week, so really, who could blame him?
