Summary
Having shot the cords that connected him to the gondola wires on Eriadu, Tech had known the end was coming. But then it doesn't come. It doesn't come and he wakes up on Kamino, a place he'd witnessed the end of, during a battle that had been pivotal to his entire service during the Clone Wars— the Battle of Kamino. Summary
After the hectic explosion of events following the execution of Order 66 that didn't quite go to plan because the word about the inhibitor chip got out in bits and chunks across the galaxy, and serving with Skirata's group's particular brand of batshit for the year since he and Tup narrowly avoided certain death, Fives' finally got back the one thing in the world he thought lost to him for good: his Echo, his first love and riduur.
There are some issues, though:
1) One of Echo's current squad and (former?) partners is dead set on digging his grave in the Empire in spite of his attachment to Echo, his Batch, or the Commander of that Outpost they're trying to rescue him from.
2) Fives may have put his foot too far into his mouth to smooth talk his way out of his poor first impression with the rest of Echo's current squad and partners and he's got /no/ idea how to address any of it with Echo.
3) Fives' Null rescuers are very interested in the Bad Batch, who seem to really, really hate the Nulls.At least Tup's excited about their beach vacation.

Summary

He followed the noise and found himself standing in front of a closet. To say Hunter was baffled was an understatement but his sense rarely steered him wrong. He opened the door and all thought of reaching up for the light vanished because Fixer was curled into a shockingly tiny ball, face pressed to his knees and hands clamped over his ears.
Hunter fell to his knees so fast it would’ve been painful if his heart wasn’t in his throat. “Fixer, what’s wrong? It’s me- it’s Hunter. Can you hear me?” He wriggled a finger in the crook of Fixer’s thumb. “One squeeze for yes, two for no, three if you can’t answer, alright?”
There was no squeeze in response.
Two commandos trying to navigate the traumas between them.
