Steve has powers au, Hop adopted him and El and is with Murray in the base closing the gate. Steve, Robin, Dustin, Erica in Star court movies. Joyce and other kids just met up. Steve and gang just escaped Brenner in russian base.

Summary
Steve wonders how it would be to have a family, he remembers those missions where he had to play the role of someone's kid, and as fucked up as it sounds those were his fondest memories; Now he is stuck with a family that is not really his, a body of a kid burried in the backyard and a role he forced himself to play, or at least that was until a new family was introduced to him in a form of interdimensional monsters, loud children and a pair of weird adults (parents).
Basically a fic of Steve being Seven and going through all the seasons with all the implications of him being a lab kid and powers that are meant to hurt and destroy and obviously trying to hide it.
