Summary
When Zuko gets banished, he does not wait for Iroh, not wanting to cause more damage than he has already, and decides to hike it on his own. He manages quite well for the most part. He is on his own, living, doing whatever it was that needs to be done, when he accidentally ends up saving the Avatar. No big deal, or at least, it wasn't, until he gets roped into joining their little gang of misfits, and then actually begins to care for some of them, despite their idiocy. He just...doesn't know what to do with that.
He does know that they can't know who he really is....

Summary
Zoro made a promise he’d keep Luffy safe and help him achieve his dream of becoming King of the Pirates. So, naturally when he heard from his former bounty hunter buddies that Don Krieg was nearby, Zoro went into a protective mode. Don Krieg was a cruel pirate with cruel methods of how he dealt with his enemies. Looking back, it was stupid of him to go after Krieg alone. It was stupid of him to think Mihawk had trained him enough to take on an entire fleet of pirates.
