They may not be physically touching, but they’re so close to it and he’s looking at her like she’s a meal (which should be concerning because she knows he literally eats people) and she really, really wishes they were touching right now. “Because I can be nice. He hadn’t been a young man when the bombs dropped, and he wasn’t any younger now. By this point, he’d experienced pretty much every feeling there was to feel, and he had little use for them anymore. He was able to view most things—and people—with the cool apathy that the wasteland required. But the girl had done a good thing for him back at the Mart, and though that wasn't worth much out here, it was worth something. A bit of curiosity, maybe. Nothing more.
Curiosity, it turned out, had a funny way of lingering in the subconscious.

He wants more of her anger, thirsts for it. It feeds the deadness, the decrepitness, the hollowness inside him.
The Ghoul leans in close to her now, his tone dripping with sugary sweetness, as he strokes over her cheek. He can smell his blood inside her mouth and it sends a thrill through him, a throb straight to his cock. He wants to rip out his finger and replace it with his tongue, clean her mouth of all his blood.
"Well goddamn, sweetheart, aren't you pretty with my finger inside your mouth. I can think of somethin' better for that mouth to do, though."
The Ghoul gives her a shit eating grin, the insinuation of what his words mean now dawning on her face, her brows furrowing in towards her moon-wide eyes, that blaze hot as the sun with anger now, glancing towards his crotch, then back up at his face, her nostrils flaring out in a bitter rage.
Oh, he's surely pissed her off now. Good.
