Jake turned to look up at him, his expression confused. God, he looked pitiful with tears running down his cheeks.
“I mean, someone has to make sure you don’t die in your sleep while you're concussed,” Bradley hastened to say.
It sounded too harsh coming out of his mouth but Jake’s lips quirked and he said, “I’d like that.”

When Jake's ex shows up at the Hard Deck things get heated and Jake gets knocked out. Fortunately Bradley is there to save the day and nurse Jake back to health and maybe make out with him...all in the name of recovery of course. -

“I said Fuck. Off!” He punctuated each word with a stab of his claws into Wade’s torso. The other man just took it, he didn’t move and he didn’t flinch, he just held Logan’s gaze. He didn’t even crack a joke.
He stabbed him a few more times for good measure. “Fuck you Wade!” Blood splattered high into the trees behind him.
Or, Logan is outed as trans and doesn't take it very well, good thing Wade doesn't mind being stabbed or being a listening ear.

Logan raised a brow at him, “You made soup? I don’t hear any fire alarms.”“Very funny,” Wade said, tugging at Logan’s arms to help him up. For some reason Logan let him. “I may or may not have Doordashed soup but it's the thought that counts.”
“Right,” Logan said. And then he realized that it was the thought that counted because what? They lived together, sure, but they weren’t the kind of make-soup-and-take-care-of-you-when-your-sick couple. Were they?

Logan was a mess after saving the universe in more ways than one and it didn't help that he moved in with Wade (to save money of course) and the guy took up more of his thoughts then he'd want to admit. Good thing Wade had no qualms about admitting it.

Wade moved slowly, like he was talking to a cornered animal. A predatory animal.“Hey, hey, you're good. I don’t mind being used as a pinboard, just give a guy a little warning first so I can at least have my eyes open for it.” He winked.
It was a good attempt at his usual banter but that's just what it was, an attempt. Because you don’t fucking do that. You don’t stab someone who you're sleeping next to who you maybe kinda sorta like.
