Whatever carefully blank expression Lestat is trying on disappears like a slap. “Armand made a fledgling. Why would he do that?” Lestat asks.
“Oh, you know,” Louis says, watching the three dots of a new text pop up. “He knew Daniel was… important to me.”
He means to say it with rueful annoyance, as if to say, “so he ruined him.” But as Daniel’s text comes in—the most important question I should have asked you in that fucking interview: where do you buy coke in Dubai?—Louis’s voice trails off, his words maybe lacking some of the bite.

Lestat misunderstands what Daniel is to Louis and tries to be a champ about it. Meanwhile Louis rediscovers his drug of choice—Lestat.

Summary
Charles thinks it from the start: they should absolutely become a package deal. Edwin seems to need some convincing.
In which Edwin and Charles do go their separate ways (briefly) and are each private investigators who then must work together to help a psychic who is involuntarily traversing time and space.

Summary
Louis had thought over their relationship and determined an average time that they were apart as well as the time they were together so he could time the break-up just right; give Lestat time to rage and give him the cold shoulder before inevitably thawing enough that Louis could enact his incredibly elaborate promposal. Then, all they had to do was make it two weeks until prom without breaking up. Louis was certain they could do that. Not because he was so certain in the strength of their relationship, but because that was close enough to prom that even Lestat wouldn’t risk splitting up with him.
Louis was going to attend prom with his boyfriend damn it, even if he had to break up with him to ensure that it happened.

Summary
In their attempts to rescue Niko from the Astral Plane, Edwin, Charles, and Crystal accidentally summon a second Charles Rowland from another universe.
Charles never gave much thought to whether he'd get along with an alternate universe version of himself. Technically, he should, this Charles was just like him: funny, clever, kind - a dead boy detective.
Except, this second version of Charles doesn't seem to know how to keep his bloody hands to himself, and off of Edwin.

Summary
Marriage was a serious matter. Marriage was a commitment, something sacred between two people who had chosen to bind themselves to each other and care for each other from the day they took their vows to eternity. Marriage was not to be taken lightly.
That is, unless you were Charles Rowland. Then you would tell any old ghost child hiding a bomb that could destroy an entire town that you were married. Because it was for the case.
