Jere laughed, disbelieving yet not offended or angry. “Really?”

They pushed their foreheads closer to each other, breaths fanning over each other’s faces, laughter spilling from their lips. It was absurd. It felt safe. Jere was warm against him. Bojan felt his heart making flips, a strange swoop in his stomach making him feel funny. But he ignored that.

Yes, I am posting Beyonder fanfiction in 2021, and yes I did just start rereading it and wanted more content.
TRIGGER WARNING there will be mentions of suicide, they're small but they will be there, there will also be mentions of alcohol and gambling later in the story.
(I made a few edits cause I noticed a few things in the notes and tags that didn't fit with the way I'm taking the story now, I also just put together that when Jason and Ferrin first meet Jason was like 13 and Ferrin had been working for Maldor for years and was a whole ass adult and now I can't write them in a relationship, big age gaps make me incredibly uncomfortable and now I just can't get past it.)
