Lily Luna Potter is upset with the sudden absence of her brothers, who are both now off to Hogwarts. Ginny tries to cheer her youngest up, but it doesn't work. Looking back on it, was there really anyone to blame? One could hardly blame a child. Nor could one blame careless words that were never meant to be taken literally. And naturally, blaming other innocents that have no control over the situation was out of the question as well. It had been a perfect storm of misunderstanding, day-dreaming, and stubbornness.
Of course, try telling that to Harry Potter, Bilbo Baggins, and one grumpy, majestically pissed-off Thorin Oakenshield!
