Summary
When Zuko was born he was sick. He wasn't supposed to live. Everyone said it was Zuko's fate to die. Agni disagreed. Zuko was blessed with life. He lived, much to Ozai's dismay. When Zuko is banished, he does not look for The Avatar. He doesn't believe The Avatar is still out there. Then, while Zuko and Iroh are sailing around the South Pole, they see that brilliant light in the sky. Zuko knows, this is where is life changes.
Or: Zuko, blessed by the Sun Spirit, joins the Gaang early as they're being hunted by Azula.
