Reader discretion is advisedAfter around three or so years of establishing his law firm in Khura'in, Apollo Justice is back in Los Angeles for a holiday visit.
His much-anticipated reunion is thrown into chaos however with the arrival of a pressing new case - a shocking homicide intertwined with a string of art thefts that the Wright Anything Agency must solve.
Joining the team is the state’s top prosecutors, including the now Vice Chief of Prosecution, Klavier Gavin.
As Apollo and Klavier work together to solve the case, their shared history resurfaces, and despite years of correspondence, their encounter reignites feelings long buried.

Summary
Edgeworth opens a new slide on his presentation and titles it “Rules.” He reads each one he taps out on his keyboard aloud, to really drive the point home.
“One. No assassinations anywhere other than the Prosecutor’s Office or courthouse.”
“Two. No severely harming opponents.” He pauses for a moment, looking directly at Blackquill, then adds, “This includes psychologically."
“Three. The last person alive wins. No appeals.”
“Four. Do not, under any circumstances, tell any affiliates of the Wright Anything Agency, the police, or the judicial system of this… selection process.” Edgeworth refuses to call it a game— it’s a farce at best and the OSHA violation of the century waiting to happen at worst.
(Or, the Prosecutor's Office fights over a case and settles it with a game of Assassin.)
