This fic is (mostly) SDV 1.5 canon compliant, except for Penny's backstory, some villagers remembering the farmer as a kid, and some minor edits in dialogue.
Spoiler warnings for heart events and other game content. Also contains occasional swearing, worries about money, some minor insecurity, one transphobic incident, and mentions of strained family dynamics, so don't read if those are sensitive subjects for you.
Full smut starts in Chapter 18 if you want to skip the plot (I know how it is sometimes, lol!), with some smutty teasers in Chapters 16-17 and winding down in Chapter 19.
I'm not 100% sure about the fluff tags, because while this is ultimately a feel-good story, there are some challenges along the way... though not dramatic enough for full-blown angst. Please let me know if I need to adjust anything.
