“He gets it,” Potter said, his eyes pleading with Severus to ‘get it’ as well. Severus did, he always had.
Maybe that was the problem.
When the dust settled, when wounds began to scar over... there were those who stood to the side and wondered: "If my whole life revolved around bloodshed and death, where do I go from here?"

Summary
Harry had just finished his fifth year at Hogwarts when his uncle picks him up from the train station, forces him into the car, drives to the airport, and gets on a plane to New York City. Harry is still reeling from the death of his Godfather, and he is not ready for a new father. Tony Stark has just managed to get the Avengers to move into his tower after the whole Ultron mess when he is landed with a moody teenage son who seems to not want anything to do with him.
Or: Tony Stark is forced to be a dad, and Harry is forced to be a son. Both have no fucking idea what to do - Cue angst, fluff, and and more angst. Author has no regrets.
Couldn't find enough of Tony Stark haphazardly parenting a wizard, so I wrote one.
