Summary
The Festival of the Five has come around again on Cybertron - it's time for the Challenge of Adaptus and Lockdown is determined to be the Champion and claim Prowl as his mate, regardless of Prowl's feelings on the matter. When Jazz finds out what the bounty hunter has planned he enters the race to stop him, and maybe win the chance to confess his own feelings to his long-time friend.

Summary
This was written in response to a writing challenge: choose a scene from a fanfic you’ve written, and re-write it from the point of view of another of the characters present.
I picked the final confrontation from my story Winner Takes All between Lockdown and Jazz, which was originally from Jazz's perspective. All of the dialogue is directly from the original; nothing was added, changed, or removed, just reframed in a new context to show Lockdown's side of the story (which, by the way, isn't very nice. Because he's not very nice).

Summary
After the brief fight between Starscream, Arcee, and Megatron caused the collapse of an old Energon mine, Megatron finds himself pinned under a mountain of rock, unable to move.
That would be humiliating enough... except he also ended up trapped next to one of the Autobots' pets.
The human, known as Jack, manages to get Megatron to talk about his past before the war... and causes him to make a startling revelation.
What if, all those eons ago... Orion had been right?

Prowl...did not panic. He was a mech equipped with the best battle computer known to Cybertronian kind, able to run probabilities and statistics faster than his emotions could register. Little surprised him, and up until recently, nothing had ever made his emotions supersede his battle computer.
Save for the scene before him, his servos trembling slightly as he holds the person who had captured his spark.
