The truth is that no one knows where magic comes from. It’s highly disputed. What is commonly accepted by the majority of the community is that magic originated with life - as in, with water. Water was where magic came from and creatures/plants eventually evolved around magic. Certain creatures were able to harness magic; others evolved away from it.

This, however - this, being Muscular Person 1 and Muscular Person 2 standing in his apartment, one with a gun trained on his head - might be a bit too much to handle.
In the ensuing silent panic, Sehun is just glad Chanyeol isn't here; he really was in over his head with this.
OR: It would be fairly accurate to say that sparks flew when Sehun first met Jongin.

Summary
The lights flicker on and Hyunjin breathes a sigh of relief. And then nearly screams when he catches sight of Changbin, sitting there as casual as you please, holding a cup of hot chocolate, smiling faintly.
He looks beautiful as ever.
"Why're you here, Jinnie?" Changbin asks, tilting his head. The necklace dangling from his neck moves with him, glittering in the light. "Couldn't sleep?"
"Yeah," Hyunjin agrees, a little dazed still. "Yeah."
Changbin offers him a sympathetic smile. "Me too. Want to watch a movie?"
"Sure."
And that's how he finds himself sitting on their couch next to Changbin, only a few inches of fabric separating their bodies, as the most terrifying movie Hyunjin has ever seen plays on the screen.
It's worth it, though, when Changbin scoots closer and wraps Hyunjin up in a warm hug, pressing them together, a line of heat against Hyunjin's side and oh god, this was both the best and worst night of his life.
Best, he decides in the next moment when Changbin leans into his shoulder, hair tickling the side of his neck. Definitely best.

Well, here Jaehyun was. Staring down a gang of goblins with only his favourite sigil-laden bat, a few knives, one grey wolf, and a ripped jacket. And no voice.
There's a hiss and the wolf shifts into an approximately humanoid form, with a determined look that promised danger.
Oh yeah, and Johnny was there too. Jaehyun tightens his grip on the bat.
He'd gotten out of worse situations before. He'd make it out of this one.
______________________________________________________________________________________________________________Really, Jaehyun's always been in love with Johnny, circling him like the moon to the sun. They're bonded, soulmates in more ways than one.
It takes losing his voice and both of them nearly dying, however, for him to finally realize this.
